Searching the user friendly EPG on the HUmax Foxsat HD we can find the screen that shows you the new QPSK modulation with the enhanced DVB-S standard of DVBS-S2. We did not scan this with any settings but I' sure in time this will come into play.
This is about as far is we can go on a free to air satellite receiver. For those trying to add other channels it is simplicity itself in the manual tune section via set up.
The screen above is in this section also. Such a pity the 28.2 is greyed out here as the box is ideal in size compared to your everyday satellite receiver as it fits in spaces that would not be possible with other set top boxes.
The Humax Foxsat HD freesat set top box has been on constant for days and it is warm only in use, on standby it goes cool.
