BBC FREESAT HD EASES ENCRYPTION RULES.
BBC FREESAT HD IS EXPECTED TO EASE THEIR ENCRYPTION ON HD programming very soon.
This comes after many complaints about the BBC HD channel being encrypted and impossible to copy onto dedicated recorders. Copy barring is in place for films and certain drama's and American shows and we are led to believe that these will not change so it looks like the recent Masters would have been a good target to make a copy.
