TEAM GREAT BRITAINS BEIJING OLYMPIC WORLD RECORDS will go into the record books as one of the best Olympic Games Great Britain has ever had and we still have four days to go.
Reverberations are already being voiced that Lottery funding is providing excellent training facilities, but surely the credit has to be directed at the new breed of record breaking athletes and their coaches we are fortunate to have.
The British Sporting Spirit has never been so strong and a big thanks for that must go to the excellent first class coverage we are receiving from our BBC. Six and sometimes seven screens plus BBC HD (for those fortunate enough to have either an HD receiver or any of the new freesat boxes; ie; Grundig Gufsat, Bush BFsat, Goodmans GF or the Humax Foxsat) we have never missed any of the action and we are viewing excellent value for our licence fee.
