COMPARE FREESAT HD BOX AND FREESAT SD BOXES?

COMPARE FREESAT HD BOX AND FREESAT SD BOXES?

Picture shows a Humax HD Box with with both HDMI and component out connections required for displaying HD Pictures on a HDTV Set.

Some well known Forums and Blogs are making it impossible for its members to understand the differences between a Freesat HD Box and a Freesat SD Box. FREESAT HD DIGITAL BOXES can both display HD and SD content at the same time without the need for the Freesat owner being in the possession of an HDTV, this is because Freesat HD boxes are designed to down scale the HD picture to SD PQ using the scart lead out from the HD Freesat Box. This also means that if you already have an HD TV then it will display the pictures at either 720p or 1080i through the HDMI out on the HD Freesat Digital Box. Being the owner of both an HD Freesat Box and an HDTV does not stop there this box also up scales all Freesat SD pictures to near HD PQ! FREESAT SD DIGITAL BOXES are NOT HD Ready and can never be as they don't have an on-board HD Tuner or any connections that can display on to an HD READY TV SET. Both the Freesat HD and SD boxes both share Multimedia Connections for future Freesat TV Broadband and interactive services!
Is it news to you! Then you read it here first!
