HDTV RESOLUTION GUIDE.

Much has been said about HDTV but little has been published for the visual aid for those
unfamiliar with the actual types of graphics available to TV and computer screens.
High definition TV has two formats, 720p and 1080i
These terms are explained in the graphic which can be clicked on to enlarge.
720p has over two times the resolution of current standard resolution TV's.
1080i has five times the resolution of current standard resolution TV's.
The extra lines gives a far more detailed and clearer picture.

explain the differences.
